Overview
Willow Valley Communities is hiring a Server for our Local Table Restaurant to serve our Residents and guests in a full service, fine dining restaurant. The Local Table is located in our Clubhouse. The Server memorizes menu selections and ingredients and maintains the ability to make recommendations while exhibiting enthusiasm and a high level of customer service.

Responsibilities:
Provides prompt, courteous service to Residents and guests following Willow Valley standards and safe food handling techniques.
Works in conjunction with other Team Members to insure efficient and timely meal service.
Escorts Residents and guests to their table, provides menus, gives specials, and pours ice water.
Takes Resident food and beverage orders at tableside and enters into computer software system.
Responsible to follow the house policy of checking identification and refusing service to minors.
Responsible to refuse alcohol service in accordance with the house policy for visibly intoxicated patrons.
Assembles food and beverage orders and serves meals in courses.
Observes diners to respond to requests and clears used dishes between courses.
Clears and resets tables throughout the meal for the next groups of diners and at the conclusion of the meal for the next meal period.
Completes clean-up side work as assigned.
Sets-up, serves and cleans up banquets or special functions, as needed.
Responsible for daily, weekly and monthly cleaning jobs, according to lists and calendars.
Restocks bar and kitchen areas with condiments and supplies according to stock lists. Maintains clean and organized pantries and storage areas.
Follows Willow Valley’s HACCP plan and Food Safety policies and procedures.
Follows all safety guidelines while operating equipment; transporting food, supplies, and trash; and preparing and serving food.
Assists in other departments (kitchen, dish room) where and when needed.
Attends Team meetings, in-services and training sessions regularly.
Qualifications:
Must be 18+ yrs of age
Portrays a professional image in mannerisms and dress, according to Culinary Services dress code.
Experience in Fine Dining/Banquet Server is required.
