Overview

Willow Valley Communities is hiring a Food and Beverage Attendant to assemble food orders and complete set-up/clean-up duties associated with café operations for a café and special functions.  The Food and Beverage Attendant will maintain expected safety and sanitation standards and high levels of customer service.

Wage:

  • From $15.00/hr + based on experience

Responsibilities:

  • Set up food venues accordingly to setup diagrams by location.
  • Provides prompt, courteous service for Residents and guests following Willow Valley standards.
  • Assists guests with use of electronic handheld ordering system to place food and beverage orders.
  • Takes verbal food and beverage orders from Residents and guests at various cooking stations and enters them into the point of sale.
  • Deliver food and beverages to diners to tables.
  • Assembles food orders for delivery to tables.
  • Cleans and resets assigned areas.
  • Operates a point-of-sale system and handles cash and credit card transactions.
  • Clears and resets tables throughout the duration of the meal for the next group of diners.
  • Observes diners and promptly responds to requests for assistance to assure an enjoyable experience.
  • Removes soiled dishes throughout meal service and transports trays and bus tubs of soiled dishes to dish room.
  • Assists with events and catering as assigned.
  • Follows Willow Valley’s HACCP plan and Food Safety policies and procedures.
  • Receives and stores food items according to HACCP guidelines. Maintains high levels of food safety/ sanitation and assures compliance with the HACCP plan.
  • Maintains high level of customer service and takes ownership in creating a warm and welcoming environment.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent customer service required

Hours:

  • 15-20 hours/week

Schedule:

  • 6:30am-11:30am, 2-3 days a week
  • 2 weekends on, one weekend off
  • Some holidays
