Willow Valley Communities is hiring a Bartender! The Bartender will work on an as-needed basis for catering events as well as every other Sunday evening at our on-site Fine Dining Restaurant, Local Table. The Bartender will be responsible for the extensive knowledge and delivery of the highest quality beverages while delivering timely, accurate and friendly service.

Responsibilities:
Greets guests and takes beverage orders from the restaurant servers or directly from guests.
Presents drink menus, makes recommendations and answers questions regarding beverages.
Mixes drinks, cocktails and other bar beverages as ordered and in compliance with company standards.
Checks identification of guests to verify age requirements for the purchase of alcohol.
Learns the names of patrons and personally recognizes regular patrons.
Follows all cash handling procedures as defined by the operation.
Ensures that the assigned bar area is fully equipped with the tools and products needed for mixing beverages and serving guests.
Serves snacks for food times to guests seated at the bar.
Prepares garnishes for drinks.
Washes and sterilizes glassware.
Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of food and beverage products, menus and promotions.
Maintains a clean and sanitary work environment including counters, sinks, utensils, shelves and storage areas.
One-to-one interaction with Residents and guests which requires an out-going personality, positive attitude and strong communication skills.
Qualifications:
1 year of bartending experience needed
