Willow Valley Communities is hiring aCafé Attendant to prepare food and complete set-up/clean-up duties associated with café operations for café and special functions. The Café Attendant will maintain expected safety and sanitation standards and high levels of customer service.

Wage:
$15.00/hr
Responsibilities:
Makes coffee and sets up café line.
Prepares for café and catering functions.
Determines production needs for café and assists with inventory and ordering.
Slices deli meats and cheeses, and prepares meat salads, weighing and measuring ingredients according to standardized recipes.
Takes orders and assembles salads and sandwiches according to customer orders.
Cleans up deli counter and dining area in café and maintains cleanliness of kitchen and pantry areas.
Operates point of sale system.
Assists with catering set up and delivery as directed by supervisor.
Follows Willow Valley’s HACCP plan and Food Safety policies and procedures.
Receives and stores food items according to HACCP guidelines. Maintains high levels of food safety and sanitation, and assures compliance with the HACCP plan.
Maintains high level of customer service and takes ownership in creating a warm and welcoming environment.
Checks identification of guests to verify age requirements for the purchase of alcohol.
Qualifications:
Must be 18 yrs or older
Excellent customer service required
Hours:
15-20 hours/week
Schedule:
8:00am-1:00pm, 3 days week + rotating Saturdays
No holidays
