Wage:
- From $43.00/hr-$50.00/hr; based on experience
Responsibilities:
- Creates a positive, encouraging, and educational environment for Team Members.
- Ensures consistency among Supportive Living Communities in all operations, policies and procedures.
- Coordinates Resident care from admission to discharge, maintaining facility standards of care, Willow Valley Communities policy and procedures, and Department of Health regulatory requirements.
- Supervises and monitors Resident care delivery daily.
- Supervises and manages nursing team member performance through education, performance appraisals, counseling, and disciplinary actions in collaboration with the Director of Nursing and Human Resources.
- Responsible for unit compliance with facility policies, procedures and protocols, and quality statistics on their floor.
- Responsible for interviewing, hiring, orientation, retention and management of turnover of nursing Team Members.
- Participates in Resident care planning process in collaboration with RNAC and unit staff in care plan development and attends care plan conference as appropriate.
- Identifies staff education and training needs and collaborates with Supportive Living Education to provide training programs.
- Performs quality assurance monitoring, including tracking and trending clinical issues (i.e. falls, medication errors, etc.) for assigned areas.
- Acts as Resident and Resident family member resources for nursing issues, including follow-up on Concern forms.
- Maintains excellent relationships with Team Members, Residents and family members.
- Demonstrates strong organizational, time management and communication skills.
- Responsible for agency tracking and usage, and is expected to use very little agency.
- Responsible for monitoring nursing practices and equipment for compliance in federal, state and local regulations.
- Responsible for Team Member and Resident satisfaction on unit(s).
- Responsible for following up on all unsatisfactory/average reviews and/or comments of Resident Satisfaction Surveys and document follow-up call.
- Serves as liaison and resource for nursing unit issues with physicians and other members of interdisciplinary care team.
- Assists the Director of Nursing with program/protocol development and implementation on nursing units.
- Provides on-call nursing supervisor coverage to the facility's Skilled Nursing Department as needed.
- Acts as Director of Nursing in the absence of the Director of Nursing.
- Participates in daily, weekly and monthly management meetings, staff meetings, various committees, and task forces as assigned.
- Provides Resident care and other emergency nursing duties when necessary to meet the goals and Resident care standards of the Nursing Department.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Manages subordinate Nurse Team Leaders and Nursing Assistants in the Skilled Nursing Department.
- Is responsible for overall direction, coordination and evaluation of the clinical care of Residents on the assigned units.
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies, regulations, and applicable laws.
- Responsible for periodic on-call nursing supervision of Skilled Nursing Department.
Qualifications:
- RN Licensed in PA
- 3-5 years clinical experience, preferably Long-Term Care setting
- Supervisory experience preferred

- 8:00am-4:30pm Monday-Friday
- Occasional Weekends
- Rotational On Call
