Willow Valley Communities is hiring a Personal Laundry Assistant to take care of the personal laundry of Supportive Living Residents, when the service is requested. Tends laundering machines to clean articles such as mops and cleaning cloths.

Wage:
$16/hr
Responsibilities:
Creates and maintains a weekly list and schedule of Residents receiving service.
Labels Residents clothing.
Washes soiled items in laundry equipment.
Dries clothing carefully to assure high standard of appearance.
Folds laundry and also hangs clothing for a high standard of appearance.
Returns items to Resident rooms and places them in appropriate receptacles or cabinets.
Maintains a friendly working relationship with Residents and other Team Members.
Turns information into Lead Housekeeper each month on services to be billed by accounting.
Responsible to keep laundry rooms clean and orderly.
Assists Supervisor in supply managements of soaps, disinfectants, etc.
Does light ironing.
Mends torn articles.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
