Willow Valley Communities is hiring a Laundry Warehouse Assistant to be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient receipt, storage, organization, retrieval, and delivery of warehoused items for the Operations Service Center warehouse and for other satellite storage locations

Wage:
$18/hour
Responsibilities:
Receives deliveries.
Unloads and unpacks incoming shipments.
Sorts, organizes and places inventory in its proper location.
Arranges, stacks and organizes large bulk items.
Accurately tracks the location, quality, and quantity of all stored items.
Monitors all warehouse material receipts, issues, and transfers.
Performs regular warehouse inventory cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
Reports damaged and/or missing inventory.
Packages items and labels items as needed.
Moves and delivers materials/inventory to proper locations.
Updates daily inventory logs/documentation through recordkeeping inventory management software.
Follows all job safety procedures and protocol.
Safely operates machinery such as forklifts, scissors lifts, pallet jacks, etc. to move or store inventory.
Ensures the warehouse is free of debris/clutter; removes safety hazards from all aisles.
Oversees warehouse equipment, general maintenance & care.
Culinary ordering of supplies and making culinary deliveries.
Southern Market laundry pickups and deliveries.
Laundry assistance (ie. Driver, pickup/deliver IL laundry, assists in the laundry department).
Performs other duties as assigned e.g. may assist with various Laundry and Transportation driving duties.
Qualifications:
A valid PA Driver’s License and driving record in good standing.
Previous warehouse and truck driving experience – CDL license preferred.
Successful completion of forklift training/certification.
Computer literacy; ability to operate e-mail systems, Microsoft windows applications, and inventory software.
Able to work with limited supervision.
Hours:
40 hrs/week
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 6:00am-2:30pm
