Willow Valley Communities is hiring a Full Time Team Member for our Floor Care department to be responsible for floor care, carpet and tile within the campus, as well as Resident apartments, according to a predefined method and schedule.

Wage:
$17.50/hour
Responsibilities:
Receives work orders and schedules from generated computer system and lead.
Cleans carpet to remove effects of smoke and water damage such as dirt, soot, stains, mildew, and excess water and moisture.
Places fans and dehumidifiers in strategic room locations to remove moisture from carpet.
Sprays or fogs carpet with fabric conditioners and protectors, deodorizers, and disinfectants.
Inspects completed restoration to ensure conformance to standards
Handles carpet extractor, buffer, bonnet machine, scrubber and supplies according to instructions. Exercises "caution" using chemicals and detergents, STRICTLY according to manufacturer's recommendations.
Pushes or pulls large trash, linen, recycle bins and newspaper bins for removal.
Sweeps, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floor.
Cleans rugs, and carpets.
Transports large trash, linen, recycle bins to designated areas.
Uses floor scrubber on various hard floor surfaces.
Uses vacuum cleaner on carpeted areas.
Detail clean pool and locker room area.
Detail clean public restrooms.
Maintains on-call responsibilities for floor care emergencies.
Performs other duties as assigned.
May assist Maintenance Department in certain areas where there is a need for manpower.
Aids as a first responder during fire emergencies and drills.
Qualifications:
Must have a valid PA Driver's License, pass a MVR check and attend mandatory driver's safety training.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
