Willow Valley Communities is hiring a Supportive Living Marketing Representative to coordinate Resident move-in processes for our new Marlin and Doris Thomas Memory Center and our other Supportive Living communities. The Marketing Representative will maintain and actively expand a network of community referral sources, ensures private-pay census levels align with budgetary projections, and lead marketing and recruitment efforts for both Personal Care and Skilled Care to support census goals and meet budget expectations.

Responsibilities:
- Models exemplary customer service and the MORE values toward Team Members and Residents.
- Models professional communication with Residents, families and Team Members.
- Creates a positive, encouraging, and educational environment for Team Members.
- Provides oversight to room availability and transitions referrals to the Memory Center.
- Confers with families, hospital case managers, nursing, housekeeping, transport, and other staff members to coordinate and schedule move- in of Resident.
- Interviews Resident or Resident's Representative to obtain necessary personal and financial information to determine eligibility for move- in.
- Discusses clinical status of potential new Resident with nursing and therapy, and the Home Life Administrator at the MDTMC, prior to approving a move in.
- Works with the Home Life Administrator at the MDTMC and Social Workers of other Supportive Living locations to coordinate and communicate accommodations based on orders, Resident’s preference, nature of medical condition, availability of space, and other information, and enters accommodation assignment information into the computer.
- Prepares move-in records and other required data and provides this information to the care team.
- Keeps records of move-ins, transfers, and vacancies and completes reports for Private Pay and Medicare/Medicare Replacement census data and referral source data. Expected to meet yearly occupancy goals.
- Maintains routine communication networks with referral sources and provides marketing materials to those sources.
- Maintains standard procedures to improve efficiency of both internal and private pay move-in processes.
- Routinely checks on Private Pay Residents who have recently moved in and addresses any concerns.
- Required meeting attendance of the following: Continuing Care Assessment Team and weekly Medicare meetings on both campuses, Administrators meeting, Team Leader meeting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (B.A) in social work/health related field, experienced RN; experience in a fast-paced long-term care or CCRC environment or experience in hospital case management is required
Background in holistic wellness, department management, knowledge of healthcare principles
Experience working with persons living with dementia
- Ability to write speeches and articles using original or innovative techniques or style
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other Team Members of the organization
