What You’ll Do
As a Menu Dining Server, you’ll play a key role in delivering an exceptional dining experience while building meaningful connections with our Residents.
- Provides prompt, courteous service to Residents and guests following Willow Valley standards and observing correct portion sizes, diet restrictions, food allergies and safe food handling techniques.
- Works in conjunction with other Team Members to insure efficient and timely meal service.
- May assist with preparation and portioning of food items for meals, snacks, and nourishments.
- Completes set- up side work as assigned.
- Escorts Residents and guests to their table, provides menus, gives specials, and pours ice water.
- Takes Resident food and beverage orders at tableside and enters into computer software system.
- Assembles food and beverage orders and serves meals in courses, utilizing a large serving tray and carrying at shoulder height.
- Observes diners to respond to requests and clears used dishes between courses.
- Carries trays and bus tubs of dirty dishes to dish room.
- Clears and resets tables throughout the meal for the next groups of diners and at the conclusion of the meal for the next meal period.
- Completes clean-up side work as assigned.
- May assemble and deliver room trays to Residents.
- Sets-up, serves and cleans up banquets or special functions, as needed.
- Responsible for daily, weekly and monthly cleaning jobs, according to lists and calendars.
- Restocks pantries and kitchen areas with condiments and supplies according to stock lists. Maintains clean and organized pantries and storage areas.
Qualifications
- No prior experience required; We will train the right candidate!
Schedule & Hours
- Part-Time Schedules Available:
- Monday, Tuesday Wednesday and Friday 8:00am-2:00pm
- Or Tuesday and Friday 11:00am-7:45pm
- Full-Time Schedule Available
- Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 6:30am-3:00pm
- All schedules include every other weekend and every other holiday
