Competitive Pay – INCREASED WAGES!
Willow Valley Communities uses an experience-based pay scale.
Hourly Wage:
$23.00 – $26.25/hr, based on experience
Key Responsibilities
As a CNA Mentor, you will provide exceptional Resident care while supporting and guiding new CNAs through orientation and ongoing development. Responsibilities include:
- Providing guidance and mentorship to newly hired Nursing Assistants using proper procedures and protocols
- Demonstrating clinical knowledge and skills within scope of practic
- Responding to call bells promptly to assess resident needs
- Assisting with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting)
- Serving meals, feeding residents who require assistance, and following Country Kitchen/Assist Dining Room assignments
- Safely using lifts and mobility equipment
- Transporting and assisting residents with ambulation and wheelchair use
- Turning and repositioning residents to prevent skin breakdown
- Taking and recording vital signs and intake/output
- Completing restorative nursing and walking programs
- Providing post-mortem care
- Performing PEEP rounds for residents at fall risk
- Maintaining infection control standards through linen and incontinence care
- Keeping resident rooms and common areas clean and organized
- Documenting ADLs accurately and timely in Point of Care (Point Click Care)
- Participating in walking rounds and shift change reporting
- Identifying, documenting, and reporting resident condition changes to nursing staff
- Engaging residents in Therapeutic Engagement opportunities, including Linked Senior
- Orienting and mentoring new CNAs and completing Orientation Checklists
- Collaborating with Lead CNAs and Clinical Managers on training, retraining, and follow-up
- Participating in annual competency training oversight and completion
Qualifications:
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certification required initially and must be maintained.
- Complete Relias/other trainings as required.
- Third shift CNAs must maintain CPR certification.
- Must attend annual dementia training.
- Proficient with computerized software.

- Schedule: Monday–Friday 2:30 pm-11:00 pm
- Every other holiday
