💲 Pay: $25/hour
🕒 Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week)
Shifts between 11:30am–7:30pm or 12:00pm–close, including every other weekend and holiday

🔪 What You’ll Do

As Executive Sous Chef, you’ll be the right hand to the Chef and a key driver of daily kitchen excellence:

  • Lead, coach, and inspire a team of kitchen professionals
  • Oversee food production, inventory, ordering, and cost control
  • Ensure exceptional quality, consistency, and presentation of all meals
  • Develop and refine menus and recipes in collaboration with leadership
  • Manage staffing schedules while balancing business needs and team wellbeing
  • Support and lead catering events and special dining experiences
  • Maintain strict food safety (HACCP) and sanitation standards
  • Engage directly with residents to ensure satisfaction and address feedback
  • Train Team Members and uphold Willow Valley’s high culinary standards

👥 Leadership Responsibilities

  • Supervise a team of 6–15 kitchen team members
  • Participate in hiring, training, performance management, and coaching
  • Foster a positive, accountable, and team-oriented environment

✅ What You Bring

  • Associate’s degree in Culinary Arts (or related field)
  • 4+ years of culinary experience, including leadership responsibilities
  • Strong background in:
    • Food & labor cost control
    • Menu development & production planning
    • Team leadership and training
  • Experience with P&L accountability or contract dining (preferred)
  • A passion for hospitality, service excellence, and teamwork
