Compensation
$15.00 per hour, based on experience
Key Responsibilities
As a Concierge Team Member, you will:
- Create a warm, welcoming, professional, and safe environment for Residents and guests.
- Greet visitors, determine the nature of their visit, provide directions and information, and notify appropriate personnel of their arrival.
- Answer incoming phone calls, direct callers appropriately, take messages, and transfer calls to voicemail when needed.
- Facilitate communication with Team Members through two-way radio systems.
- Stay informed on WVC resources, publications, and intranet updates to accurately answer questions and provide information.
- Securely manage key boxes, issue keys according to established procedures, and assist with Resident move-out processes.
- Respond to emergency phone calls and alarms through the Simplex system, dispatch appropriate personnel, and coordinate communication throughout emergencies.
- Communicate with the Manager on Duty, Maintenance Team Members on Call, Team Leaders, and other departments as needed.
- Process guest room reservations and support check-in/check-out procedures.
- Coordinate transportation reservations and communicate transportation schedules.
- Submit maintenance and IT service requests.
- Utilize Microsoft Office and learn additional software, databases, and web applications as required.
- Receive, sort, and distribute mail, packages, and floral deliveries.
- Operate office equipment, including copiers and fax machines, and maintain necessary supplies.
- Collect payments, reconcile daily cash receipts, and ensure the safe remains secure.
- Perform general administrative and clerical duties, including typing correspondence, reports, schedules, copying, scanning, faxing, and collating documents.
- Maintain knowledge of daily Concierge Desk procedures and responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Experience using Microsoft Office is required.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- One to three months of related experience and/or training preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Schedule
4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
- Tuesdays and Wednesdays
- Every other weekend
- Every other holiday
