Pay
- $15.00/hour+, based on experience
What You'll Do
As a Dishwasher, you'll help maintain the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the kitchen, dish room, and market facilities by:
- Scraping, scrubbing, washing, and sanitizing dishes, pots, pans, trays, silverware, utensils, and other kitchen equipment by hand or using a commercial dish machine according to standard operating procedures
- Retrieving carts and tubs of soiled tableware and transporting them to the dish room
- Properly storing clean and sanitized dishware, silverware, and equipment
- Transporting clean and sanitized tableware and supplies to dining areas
- Monitoring and recording dish machine temperatures and sanitizer concentrations daily
- Cleaning the commercial dish machine inside and out each day
- Maintaining a clean, sanitary, organized, and safe dish room throughout your shift
- Sweeping and mopping floors in the dish room, kitchen, walk-in refrigerators, storage areas, and dock areas
- Completing daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning assignments according to cleaning schedules
- Collecting trash and recyclables and transporting them to designated receptacles
- Training new dishwashers using established training checklists and expectations
- Following Willow Valley's HACCP plan and Food Safety policies and procedures
- Following all safety guidelines while operating equipment and transporting food, supplies, and trash
- Participating in team meetings, in-services, and training sessions
In addition, this position may assist with exterior building cleanliness, dining room and restroom upkeep, trash removal, and other duties assigned by management.
