This leadership role is ideal for an HR professional who excels in complex employee relations, workplace investigations, performance management, compliance, and organizational development.

As a key leader within our Human Resources team, you will partner with leaders across the organization to strengthen leadership effectiveness, enhance Team Member engagement, drive retention strategies, and ensure consistent, high-quality people practices that support our mission and values.

What You'll Do

  • Team Member Engagement and Culture
    • Own and lead WVC’s Team Member engagement strategy, including surveys, focus groups, action planning and follow up.
    • Analyze engagement data and partner with leaders to develop targeted improvement plans and increased value for Team Members.
    • Champion organizational values and culture initiatives that reinforce belonging, recognition, and connection across the organization.
    • Oversee and coordinate Team Member engagement events, ensuring they are purposeful, inclusive, and aligned with organizational values and engagement goals.
    • Partner with internal committees, leaders, and HR Team to plan and execute events.
    • Ensure consistency, quality, and positive Team Member experience across all engagement activities.
    • Evaluate participation, feedback, and impact to continuously improve engagement offerings.
  •  Performance Management and Leadership Support
    • Lead the annual performance management cycle, including support in goal setting and review process.
    • Develop and maintain performance management tools, template, and manager resources.
    • Partner with leaders to strengthen coaching capability, accountability, and effective performance conversations.
    • Support leaders with performance improvement planning, development discussions, and continuous feedback practices.
  • Onboarding and Employee Experience
    • Design and oversee the onboarding experience to ensure consistent, engaging, and effective start for new Team Members.
    • Own orientation content, structure, and continuous improvement.
    • Partner with Talent Acquisition and HR team to ensure seamless onboarding transitions.
    • Own Team Leader orientation content, structure, and continuous improvement.
    • Identify opportunities to enhance Team Member experience across the full employee lifecycle.
  • Organizational Effectiveness
    • Lead organizational effectiveness initiatives, including role clarity, leadership capability, team effectiveness, and change management efforts.
    • Partner with HR leadership on communication strategies and people-related initiatives tied to organizational priorities.
    • Contribute to continuous improvement of HR programs and practices within the COE model.
    • Creation, maintenance and improvement of people-related policies and procedures.                        
  • Collaboration and Partnership
    • Partner closely with Manager, Total Rewards and Manger, Talent Acquisition to ensure alignment across the Team Member lifecycle.
    • Collaborate with HR team and Team Leaders to ensure consistent execution of people-related programs and processes.
    • Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders on engagement, performance and culture topics.
    • Evaluate program impact and recommend updates to ensure continued relevance and organizational alignment
  • Retention and Workforce Insights
    • Own retention strategy and turnover analysis, identifying trends, root causes, and opportunities for improvement.
    • Partner with HR leadership and leaders to design and implement retention initiatives.
    • Monitor and report on key people metrics related to engagement, performance, and retention, translating data into actionable insights.
  • Team Leadership and Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Directly supervise and mentor HR Assistant and Corporate Receptionst.
    • Provide coaching development plans and ongoing performance feedback
    • Other duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A) or equivalent from a four-year college or university
  • 5+ years of experience in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration or related field.
  • 3-5 years of progressive HR experience with a strong focus on engagement, performance management, and employee experience.
  • SHRM or PHR certification required or willing to obtain with first year.
  • Demonstrated experience leading engagement initiatives and performance management process.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and relationship building skills.
  • Experience in healthcare, senior living or complex, multi-department organizations preferred.
  • Ability to work on-site in Willow Street, PA
