As a Restaurant Server at Home Plate, our new BBQ restaurant located within the Memory Center, you'll provide exceptional service while helping create a welcoming dining experience for Residents, families, guests, and Team Members. Position Details

• Part-Time
  • 3:30 PM-9:00 PM (closing time varies based on business needs)
• Schedule could vary and may include:
  
  • Weekends
  • Holidays
• Pay: $8.00/hour+ based on experience, plus tips

What You'll Do

• Provide prompt, courteous service to Residents and guests
• Greet guests, escort them to tables, and present menus
• Take food and beverage orders and enter them into our POS system
• Memorize menu items and ingredients and make recommendations
• Deliver food and beverages in a timely and professional manner
• Clear and reset tables throughout service
• Assist with banquet and special event service as needed
• Complete side work, cleaning assignments, and stocking duties
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and safe handling procedures
• Collaborate with fellow Team Members to ensure an outstanding dining experience
• Assist in kitchen or dish room operations when needed

• Some prior restaurant or food service experience preferred
• A positive, friendly, and enthusiastic attitude
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced restaurant environment
